week 35/26
Several notes from this week. Some are grateful, some are not.
I have so many questions in my head to which I'd like to know the answers. These questions can't be googled. They just sit there, unanswered, taking up space.
Going for a long bike ride and burning all the calories I had in my body until I start to shiver and shake.
Sitting in the garden on our favourite bench, drinking tea and talking to Romča.
Riding bikes with friends!
Spontaneously celebrating a friend's birthday on a Thursday evening after a ride. Three beers, two shots, and a lot of laughs.
Outdoor hardcore show at the local DIY skate spot.
Hiking, making coffee outside, and trying to draw what I see.
Riding more bikes and taking lots of photos (documenting).
Not a minute to spare for resting, and it's already Sunday evening. Somewhere between all of it, I forgot to just sit still.
Grateful for all of it. Tired from all of it too.
This is worth watching, Walkie Talkie with Jason Eskenazi.

This week we left for work together, every day, Monday–Friday. Each day, same stairway, bright early morning sun shining through a window, calling us outside. Different clothes each day, same backpack. Taking left, walking past parked cars and trashcans, giving a goodbye kiss, and then I enter the grown-up world where money and time rule everything. Two of the biggest variables we'll never have enough of.
—
I did catch a couple of cool cars for my growing gallery. I'm gonna put the gallery together soon.

Random snaps with no particular importance in time or order.

I'm just trying new ways to document what I see. Sometimes I myself wonder what I saw and what has appeared on the paper. I'm still trying, still searching — it makes me sometimes happy and sometimes angry. There's still a long way ahead of me, and not knowing what's ahead of me is kinda fun.
—
Hiking, slowing down, and visiting places we've never been before. I drew, Romča read a book, and we made coffee and had lunch. Changing the pace of the day feels good in a different way.

See you in the next week. Maybe.
